Notary Jonathan Tait provides a full range of notarial services including legalisation.

We can arrange for documents to have an apostille attached by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London. We can deal with documents that require in-country legalisation –such as documents in connection with going to work or live in the UAE – efficiently and effectively via The MyNotary Network's London office.

One of the most frequent documents needing to be notarised on behalf of individuals are Powers of Attorney; closely followed by making certified copies of various certificates.

Notaries can help: -
* If you are buying or selling property aboard

* Commercial contracts and trade or business agreements

* Statutory declaration witnessing: a pension claim, proof of being alive, affidavit of loss

* Certify copies of translations, passports, birth & death certificates and grants of probate

* Adoption papers

* To sponsor relatives from abroad

* In connection with travel documentation and children travelling without their next of kin.

* In connection work permits

What is Notarisation

If you need to sign a legal document for use in outside of the UK, it usually has to be notarised. The Notary checks your identity to ensure that you are the person entitled to sign the document. In the UK it is the notary’s duty to be certain that you fully understand the nature and effect of the legal document you are signing.
